That’s why we’re proud that they selected Benson Electrical Contracting for the installation of a new service for the new Northern Tool and Equipment facility they’re building in Glendale Heights. In addition to installing a 400amp 277/480V service, Benson Electrical Contracting is constructing an expansive LED lighting system for the building.

LED lighting continues to grow in popularity. Not only does it save on energy and maintenance costs, the indirect benefits of safety and mental health are substantial – particularly in buildings with high ceilings such as warehouses, big box stores or other large spaces such as multi-purpose rooms and gymnasiums. LEDs require less maintenance. And because the risk of worker safety on ladders and cherry pickers is reduced, they also help reduce accidents. A real benefit to helping lower worker compensation claims. More benefits? LED’s have also been attributed to helping people feel more energized.
