Our (Incredible!) Year in Review

As a commercial/industrial electrical service company, we’re truly grateful to the businesses who choose Benson Electrical Contracting for their commercial and industrial electrical needs.  Serving the business community is a big responsibility, and we do not take that lightly. After all, the livelihood of businesses, and the individuals they employee, is at stake.

Now that 2022 is behind us, we can clearly see how it became one of our most outstanding years in business.   Despite pent up demand and nagging supply chain issues (thanks to the Pandemic), our employees in the field – and in the office -continued to give it their all.  The number of successful projects and satisfied clients is certainly proof. Listed below are just some of our many accomplishments.

2022 milestones

• Working with general contractors, Benson Electrical Contracting wired the past for the future as we updated electrical services for new AC systems at Chicago’s famed Music Box Theater.
• We helped businesses light the way with close to 200 LED lights and fixtures installed throughout the year.
• Conducted and continued ongoing weekly safety and equipment training for employees.
• Began significant electrical restoration at the Historic Courthouse in Woodstock that includes wiring for two 2,000-amp services, as well as one 800-amp. Service.
• Continued electrical installation for several new construction projects with Belle Tire.
• Provided design and installation for new Goodwill retail store in Burbank and Goodwill distribution center.
• We went “back to school” with hardhats as we provided electrical installation services for Prairie Grove Elementary School’s 12,000 square foot campus expansion.
• Witnessed the growth of the electric vehicle market as we increased installation orders for EV charging stations.
• Enjoyed plenty of happy faces as we conducted several electrical projects at The Great Wolf Lodge.
• Welcomed new faces at the office including:
  • Carol, our new bookkeeper who is keeping all the moving parts of Benson Electrical Contracting well organized and accounted for
  • Hollie Daniel, our new business partner bringing years of experience in the fire alarm and data field

From educational building expansions to historic renovations – entertainment venues and agricultural facilities – with plenty of retail and commercial properties in between, Benson Electrical Contracting continues to grow with our customers who trust us with all their electrical needs.  And, with the new year upon us, we will be expanding our services to meet the needs for commercial/industrial fire alarms and data centers.

Yes, it was a very good year for Benson Electrical Construction.  We look forward to continuing the great relationships we’ve built with our clients and to growing new relationships with new clients in the new year ahead.
